Cohort Development Fund – Call for Proposals

The CHASE Training and Development Group is pleased to announce an open call for proposals for training initiatives. The aim of the call is to complement existing training supported by CHASE during academic year 2017/18 and beyond.

Guidance for applicants

Training will be funded through the CHASE Cohort Development Fund. This fund supports a range of training and development activities for arts and humanities PhD researchers. Details of current and previous activities funded from the Cohort Development Fund can be viewed here: http://www.chase.ac.uk/development

Successful proposals will complement current and previous activities by either providing training in themes and methodologies not currently covered by CHASE training or offering higher level, bespoke training that further develops existing CHASE training initiatives.

Training could take the form of:

·         Individual workshops or masterclasses that address specific issues/training needs

·         A series of workshops or masterclasses linked by a broader theme

·         An intensive residential programme

This list is not exhaustive. The CHASE Training and Development Group welcomes innovation in the design of training opportunities.
