23 Things – Introduction

23 Things is a digital education and learning project created by Helen Blowers of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library. Originally it was designed as a way of encouraging librarians to learn and embrace new technologies. We’ve adapted it to help CHASE students and staff feel more confident in exploring and using digital tools.

Starting on 5th February, we’ll post a new Thing each week. Posts will include guidance on how you can discover more about the topic, along with an assignment to work on at your own pace. This might involve creating a digital object and sharing it through a discussion forum, or simply reflecting on your practice. You can get involved as much, or as little, as you like – it’s completely self-directed.
