22-25 November | Close-Up Film Centre in London
November Film Festival is an international festival for experimental film and artists’ moving image run by CHASE students. We present single channel film and video works from within the fields of experimental and essay film, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary, ethnographic and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. November champions works made by early career artists and filmmakers whose work is underrepresented in the UK. The festival provides a platform in London for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema, with the aim of building an international community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.
The festival runs biannually, with the inaugural edition having taken place in Goldsmiths 17-20 of November 2016. The second edition of the festival will take place 22-25 November 2018 at the Close-Up Film Centre in London.
